I am sure forum owners with dead forums would be interested, do you have the Minstrel version available, if not how about the Lawsuit version

Are you delivering relevant pages for searches? This is what this thread was originally about. Is it really evil if you use "Alternate" methods to provide relevant results?

I argue that you are actually doing good by improving Google from a searchers perspective.

There are lots of relevant pages out there for most phrases ;)

I wouldn't go so far as to say you're doing Google a favor...

I do what i need to do to get traffic.
    Whatever that be.
    What are relevent results?
    Relevent is mine.
Quite often i will direct the seacher to anther page that i think is more relevent but its just a game to me.

I guess I'm proposing there is something called "Responsible Blackhat" even though I hate the term.

Isn't there more money to be made if you put a legitimate site (One with the appropriate product or info) to the top of the SERPs when using these methods like cloaking?

Or is there more money putting adult sites at the top of searches for actresses names etc?

Relevance in this thread refers to the Searcher not the Webmaster/SEO

Irrelevant would be an Adult site ranking for "Britney Spears" when she wasn't on it.

I guess adult is a whole different story though and I have to admit I have little understanding of Adult SEO

Plenty of money in that kind of thing...

But just like anything else, you can make money in all sorts of ways. Cloaking is fantastic for targetting hundreds of niche terms (Which normally tend to convert better than generic ones), but unless the visitor is happy with what they're looking at, they'll press the back button.

So you launch a new site and build content and links.
How you gunna survive for 1 or 2 years while you get it in the top ten?

So you throw up some spammy content that scrapes or whatever and that pays enough to allow you to work on your real sites.

Sure fooling folks to get to your pages is great "BH", right guys

Or you could bid on dropped domains and do the same thing with affiliate landing pages.

Not all of these methods are for fooling searchers. To me its all about the end product and if its a bunch of scraper stuff, your conversion will be a lot lower.

No need for popcorn Noppid ;)
