I am just curious to know who here actually makes a living off there website(s)? Please post your url and tell me how you did this and approximately how much you make a month off of it. any other info you want to add add that as well.
There are many people that make 10 k/month and much more but not even one will post you the url ... Olso it's not a standard succes formula for evryoane is difrent The keyword is : Hard work
Took the words right out of my mouth. Couldn't agree more. The only other keyword I'd throw in there with Hard Work is: Persistence
He probably uses RSS sites which work on auto-pilot i.e. update automatically. Plus linkinh 900 sites together is very good since a new site will get a good rank automatically.
Luck shouldn't be considered a factor in the first place you see, you may never get lucky and then blame it all on luck, just put hardwork and persistence together and you will get what you want, just keep working on your website, be generous and good towards your visitors, keep providing them information and they will keep coming back for more. Thats the thing, do hard work, and I mean REAL hard work if you want to make a living off your website(s). Seriously dude, get an idea and work on it till you find it successful, if you are unsuccesful, try again, there is something missing out in between. But I repeat, NEVER consider luck as a factor of success, luck should hold no importance for you, if it ever strikes, all you get is a bonus, nothing else. IT
Those that are making a living are too busy to be on here and post about the piles of cash they're rolling around in
Well, I'm not going to post my monthly earnings, and I live pretty cheap, but I do make a living online. The key is that I already had a fairly popular site (started 1999, probably, not sure) that has just steadily grown in page-numbers, info and users. Luck does indeed not have much to do with it. I've just kept at it (persistence and liking it too), thought about what would the visitors like, learned a lot about webdesign, search-engine-marketing etc., and been happy when people came and did not go offline when there were slumps in the traffic. Every site starts with zero traffic, remember that.
why would the people who actually make 10k per month from there websites not post here that they do? They should be glad that they've achieved that and post it here so we can congratulate them. I don't understand. But if there to busy that's another story. But i'm talkign about ppl who stay at home work on there websites whatever chance they get and still live there normal life. It seems to me it is very hard to make a living online. Personally it gets really deppressing if i stay at home all day and work on a website for a living. I could do it but it gets deppressing.
I think that it would be interesting to know what percentage of people on DP who claim to be earning their living online are actually just trying to sell you something. My bet would be well over 90%. The people who are making real money would either: 1. Have no reason to hang out on DP or 2. Come on here to troll for more customers
Everyone has to start somewhere. Make a living? Im still trying to make a profit. Then again im a highschool student... but i have like 10 website that just kinda sit there that use clicksor and give me like $20/month or so. Not bad for a student =)
I think that's a load of crap to be honest. I think most people hang out on DP to increase there earnings. Many do this as a fulltime gig and would be earning a few thousand a month at least.
