    No they are passing the old link around and generating hype trying to earn green....

    Many think they are getting paid for filling out this "information request"

    When in fact few will ever be called to fill out surveys and get paid.

    @rustybrick: Not sure. But if they werent then the survey link wouldnt have existed.

    @forumrating: Dude its not the survey. Its just the signup form. Once you finish that form they'll have your info on the file and they'll contact you when they feel its time to survey your area.

    @falcondriver: Yeah, I also think $75 is too much for a little survey. Maybe they are competing Yahoo's YPN survey. I posted in here coz I got the YPN survey link from here. Like a payback. Yeah if we forward the link Google might feel a little good. But there is a point that they havnt provided the survey directly coz of that reason ( people taking the survey ). They are having your info on the file and will contact you later for survey. Smart Work Google :p

    @mystic: Dude its not the survey. They'll contact you for the survey when they think its ok.

    @SFOD_D223: Maybe but google is big enough to provide some $75 to its users for some survey. ( remember they got the Billion $ sites recently )
