May I suggest disabling the image verification, at least for a while. That older one is a bid of a pain and I keep getting it wrong.

Couldn't agree more. Even with the simple image validation, the straight-forward fact is if you want to make money, disable image validation (since it takes more time to submit with image validation than without no matter what level of distortion). Much better chance of getting more featured submissions (or standard for others reading who have a paid directory). Remember, there are many directories that do not use it. So, a submitter may well consider their time better spent on one of them.

 

Good points. Also, I don't think PHPLink directory image verification stops the automated submissions anyway.

Give it a couple of days and you will get good at identifying the automated submissions.

 

I disabled the image vertification. Already got a featured submission from Alive Directory. They are $5 for unlimited time/for until the site exists.

 

I am redirected to the same submit page thrice but still am not able to submit the sites...
Also the submit page does not show any errors too

thanks for submitting. all links are being approved. i also increased the amount of featured links per category, from 5 to 8 so those who didnt have a chance, do now.

 

The amount of featured links has been increased from 8 to 20 per category due to the high amount of requests in certain sections. Make sure you get yours before they sell out. All links that have been submitted have been approved. Keep on submitting and enjoy the directory .

 

IMO, 20 is too many. 10 should definitely be the max. (since they are all on the first category page in addition to the standard).

 

It`s a nice directory, I`ve submitted few sites , now I`m awaiting approval. I think that you could add a skin for your directory. It would make the site more userfriendly.
