    Hi,

I am running a ppc campaign on google. But i dont have good CTR(0.30 % only).

I had double checked my adcopy and keywords and i am sure that i am using
    right kws and right adcopy.

I am also using phrase match and exact match with kws and no any broad match.

Now please explain me how i can increase my CTR.

    Thanks

    Delhi.SEO,

    1. Check your bid level. What sort of placement does it give you?
    2. Write multiple copy and test.

Are your talking about search network? this is a normal CTR for content network.

1 - Try using dynamic Ad: Use {KeyWord:} variable on ad title AND ad description.

2 - Try using at least 6 ad copy per adgroup

3 - create multiple adgroups - distribute keywords per adgroup.

4 - try to create ads with at least 30 char per description lines

5 - try to connect the 1st description line with the 2nd description line (finish 1st description line with 'of', 'on', 'at'

I feel that Adwords is expanding "coupon" issuance!

So depnding on your niche... MAY BE you are unable to compete
becuse some OTHER advertisers are bidding higher (becuse they don't actually pay, they use coupons!).

My $0.02 here... i could be wrong.

0.30% is way... to low. You may either pause that current campaign now. Before it affect your overall CTR, forcing you to pay more for a current postion.

Your ad position is calculated this way.
    CTR X Top bid
The higher the point, the higher position you are in.

So e.g. if you have a CTR of 0.5% and you are paying 10 cent, your point is 5
However if there is another with a advertiser who has a CTR of 10%, and he pay only 2 cent, he had a point of 20 and is above you in position.

Of course, now with e update... quality of landing page is also a factor.

    See, the importance of CTR!

First of all - understand that it's not always about the keywords
and copy Sometimes, the phrase or keywords themselves have
alternate meanings to the consumer or might not match their
'frame of mind' (whether it be to buy or research).

I learned this the hard way. :(

Secondly, the best way to get a big boost is to modify
your domain name. Instead of tomssite.com how about
    cheapcarengines.com or qualitycarengines.com

Also a landing page with the kw description can boost your
    CTR dramatically cheapcarengines.com/FordEngines

Also what matching options are you using? Exact match will gain the highest CTR.

The other suggestions such as using dynamic keywords, checking your average positioning, testing multiple ad variations are definately all worth checking.

It's also worth comparing your ad with your competitors to see if their ad's are more attractive to the user. For example if you are listing a price in your ad copy and a competitor is doing the same with a lower price this will affect your CTR.

All the above are excellent advices.

    I will add:

    1) Write strong Headlines
    2) Capitalize all your letters in the headline
    3) Use the URL: Put a keyword
    4) Don't write WWW in the url section

You must FOCUS on your Ad Copy (Get some copywriting skills), and split test one thing at a time.

Experiment. Find out what works best for you, experiment with ad placement, keywords, colours - everything.

You'll soon find how to reach your site's potential with enough effort.

Removing www. from the URL saves space for long domain names, but I don't really think it makes any difference unless you need the extra characters for folder or file names.

Depending on what you have on offer it might also be worth a try to use:

    a) timed offers: pressured customers click more
    b) awards you have won: helps, but only if it is a widely recognized award
    c) differentiate yourself (has been mentioned before): if everybody sells on price, try selling on quality, service or whatever you can think of --> USP

    My 2 cents:

If You 100% that You are using the right keywords sometimes it's enoguh to change 1-2 word in the ad lines. It happened to me! You need to use those 4 lines as best as possible. Target Your visitor and give them exactly what are they looking (there search keywords........)
