I am noticing that there are ads from adsense that content of the site they are promoting is almost nothing but adsense ads only. And I guess this ads causes us to make very low raging from $0.01 - $0.03 per click. Can we post here those ads we filter?
Filtering Ads = Rubbish. Why would you want to get rid of the best paying ads your page can display? It is called "Competitor Filter" (or similiar) for a reason, thats all its meant for.
The point here is to filter out the worst paying ads. However, given that AdSense displays the highest paying ads first, I haven't quite worked out how this can help...
I am sure you have already recieve $0.01 - $0.03 and do you think they are the highest bid displaying. My point here is try to remove all those ads that promoting another adsense site, which try to bid very low for its keyword for them to make higher.
I don't filter any ads. Can't be bothered actually. Whether it's $0.01 or $10.00 per click. It's all easy income. Sort of like a bonus. You put a little effort in and you receive a reward for your efforts. I feel very fortunate I have received (notice I did not use the word earned?) income for very little effort. However, it's great to hear of success stories. Col
I do filter ebay ads. They are bad-looking (automatic: "Find the best ..") and go to the meaningless search result pages. It really depends on niche, see what kind of ads does ebay display on your site. As for me, I block: ebay.co.uk, ebay.com and sites I found as MFA.
My list is not very big: 8-topsites.com 8bestsites.com best-download-sites.com best4sites.net bestcomputingsites.com bestsportinggoodssites.com brilliantblue.com ebay.co.uk ebay.com hot4sites.com meshybeats.com softwaresearch.us top-3-sites.com top10mostexpensive.com toptensites.org
wmtips did you establish that list via your own testing or did you get them from the Adsense black list? I see some of those sites on the Adsense black list site including eBay.
Some of them from adsblacklist, some I've found while inspecting landing pages after clicking under ca-test account.
Let them continue to believe Adsense serves the highest paying ads first. Their sites will receive the lowest paying ads because Adsense has to put those ads somewhere. You are on the right track. Filter the MFA sites by visiting the advertiser but do not click on your ads. If you see worthless content or more Adsense ads than content - filter those ads. It's really simple. I've done that from the beginning and I consistently earn $50+ a day.
This is total rubbish, I just noticed one of my sites on the blacklist yet I don't bid only a few cents. Most of the bids for my blacklisted site are >.25c, but I bid on a lot of keywords, so I assume that if I am the only one bidding on some obscure keyword then the publisher will only get a few cents rather than getting a PSA. I dont filter out any sites on my account, as you could end up with too many public service announcements as there will be no ads to see... I would rather a few cents than nothing!
Umm, does anyone here have hard evidence that adsense displays the HIGHEST paying ads ALL the time? If that is true then how come if you refresh a page you get NEW ADS!! Your ads will still get displayed if you bid lower then other advertisers.
