how many mini sites do you host

i was wondering how many mini sites you guys have. i'm just starting to build my adsense empire and my goal is to build one to two sites a week.

Please, don't. Build quality sites instead of MFA ones.

 

but i can build a quality empire. i can hire people to write for me and share the profit and make more people happy.

 

The domain re-registering will kill any small profit you'll get. better to just stick with a few good sites and build them up.

 

Definitely only stick with one or 2 sites, you will dig yourself in a hole if you create so many.

 

Don't waste your time building stupid mini sites honestly it's just more work in the long run. You can make the same amount just by building 2 quality sites.

I am not going to build hundreds of sites but my goal is to have over 30. The sites won't be too big but the content will still be quality.

 

Start with 30-40. After that if you still has time, build more.

 

What exactly is considered a mini site, a site with 5 pages? I have a few sites but Im not sure if I would call them mini.

 

It depends on your site capacity. But according to me 15 to 20 sites are fine.

 

A lot of people believe that building hundreds and hundreds of websites will be profitable when they see the initial earnings. What people neglect to understand is that the number of sites are growing day by day. Sites with substantially low quality content will soon loose rankings. It's better to have a relatively small network of websites you can build on.

 

very informative replies...yea i think my goal is to have around 30-40 pages. i am not good at blogging so they will be simple websites (5-20 pages).

i'm also planing on having 2-3 hub pages which should be ranked a bit better and build the rest around them.

You are a lair - you said in your previous thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1674218) that you have 5 websites and you are making $30-$40 a day. Now you are saying you have 40 mini sites... which one is true?

 

having built quite a few mini sites id say stay away. i now only concentrate on 3 decent sites. the mini sites are hit an miss, some earn $40 a month, others only $4. much better to spend your time on something that has potential to increase and not stay stagnant.

 

the 3 sites you are talking about...are they blogs?

I have 2 blogs and i update and maintain a further 8 blogs for customers.

 

I belive making lots of useless websites is of no value. This is nothing but wasting your time. Rather you should be attentive to make one or two quality sites. Quality always survives, not quantity. If you can draw a moderate traffic from a couple of websites, then I think it will not be very difficult to earn a good amount for money from Adsense. This is my personal reasoning.

 

If you can build a good quality site, sometimes they can run on autopilot with minimal updating. I would venture to guess they'd have to be very micro-niched, in order to have a lot on autopilot.
