Feedback Scammed by other dp members, cant do anything about it?

Hi,

I was trading 106 USD paypal with 100 USD money booker with DP members called magicworld11, after I sent my money, he doesnt wanna reply me anymore after saying:"I gonna transfer the 100$ MB today" and so on, but till now (1 week+) I got no reply.

Well, I disputed it already, it is also already escalated to claim, but results is still not known till now. I am not worried about the money I might or might not loose, but I hope others won't get scammed by this guy in the future, so I have decided to leave itraders, but hell, I can't! Since I dont have the deals thread. The thread where I am looking for a way to change my paypal money to MB(the opens the way for magicworld11 to contact me) is deleted too...

So that's all I could do?

 

Exchange of money in this way is NOT allowed here in DP, I suppose. Furthermore your thread is also deleted. You can try talking to paypal support or give them screenshots, if any, as evidence. Your chance of getting back your money is bleak, but according to me, the name of the scammer magicworld11 should be made aware to all the users here and mods should take necessary action.

By the way, magicworld11 is quite an old member here with lots of iTrade. I am skeptical about him being a fraud!

ya, he has a lot of iTrades with long history, with only 3 negative feedbacks out of 57. That what made me feel safe exchanging the money from my paypal with him, but I was wrong!

so far, he hasnt responded me, not even one reply since January 17th till now. I will let paypal decide, claim has been raised and right now it is in the proccess: awaiting for seller's response, so far, the seller hasnt responded too for 2x24 hours..

Private deal issues are between you and the other member. DP is just a platform and you do business at your own risk. Considering the deal was for money exchanges which are not allowed here at all, we definitely won't get involved.

Do not post screenshots. You may only leave negative feedback in a deal thread or in iTrader tied to a deal thread. Since you don't have a valid deal thread, neither would be appropriate. These are precisely the kinds of reasons money exchanges are ill-advised.
