Google will show public ads where it does not have any other advert to show, or (correct me if I'm wrong!) if your page contains words that the adsense bot deems suspect. Nothing you can do about it!

If your sig links are any indication of what you are doing... it's time to rethink your approach. Pick a REAL topic something people buy online and get to work.

This is right. Whats your site? Site in your sig.. You must have content that bots can pick up to server relevent ads. Otherwise you get public service ads that pay nothing.

Sig links are the websites you have listed in your signature.

Oh. No, the sites from my signature links are not the site I'm indicating. It is another website. Do you have any idea how to improve this? Besides, I just placed the ad 1 day ago. Does the time duration will affect this issue?

AdSense have its own bots which crawl pages to determine the content type. Until they do that you may see PS ads. Usually this happens to newly submitted websites. Give it some time, you will be seeing reads ads.

As many said public ads are shown when there are no advertisers. To avoid this do the following.

    • Have a good title for the website. Do not have default or untitled as the page title.
    • Choose a proper niche - You must have a niche where people are prone to advertise. Think about having a laptop niche and a generic niche such as 'people', 'mind', 'tension', etc., Think more producty !
    • Have a well mixed keyword articles. Without proper keywords adsense bot will never understand what your website is all about.
    • Try not to block the accebility of adsense bot. You need to have a good structure and navigation should be easy.

    Hope this help.

    Thanks
    Maven.

After doing the steps the people above said, you may want to consider getting a 2nd ad company like AdBrite to fill in the times public service ads are showing. So at all times you are making some kind of money.

    Hello,

I have the same problem, and I know the reason. I banned googlebot from accessing a page, so I believe that is the reason why I get PSA's. Is there a way around this? Show Adsense, but still ban googlebot? Thanks for any respond! if you want to get paid... I will pay you if your solution is correct!

I've noticed that whenever I open my website from the PC I login to adsense, I see public service ads. I think you are experiencing the same thing
