Don't think so. Michael was a Jehovah's Witness.

If you search for Michael Jackson Islam, it looks like he switched to Islam. Either way he was associated with one of the works based religious systems.

Allah is the Arabic name of God. So the song is for all people who believe in God.:)

that's what I thought too. Obviously it doesn't get into terrorists' minds.

Metro Tabernacle Church, Church of Assumption, and Life Chapel Church are among the churches firebombed by suspected Islamists who are outraged by the decision of the high court.

The controversy over the use of the word Allah by Christians started in 2007 after Malaysian authorities pressured a Roman Catholic newspaper, the Herald, to stop referring to God by the name Allah in its Malayan language publication.

Christian groups argue that Allah is an Arabic name for God which predates Islam. However, Malaysian Muslims contend that the word should only be used by Muslims.

Malaysia is a predominately Muslim country with 60 % of its population adhering to the Islamic religion. Christians make up only 9 % of the population. Buddhists and Hindus also comprise a significant minority.

    http://www.metrolyrics.com/give-thanks-to-allah-lyrics-michael-jackson.html

    The arabic lines:
Allahu Ghefor Allahu Rahim Allahu yuhibo el Mohsinin,
hua Khalikhone hua Razikhone whahoa ala kolli sheiin khadir

    Translates to:
Allah is forgiving, Allah is merciful, Allah loves the believers
he is our creator, he is our sustainer, and he is greater than (lit. above) everything else

Allah loves the believers (only)... Yup. very Islamic lyrics.

get it straight before you go far in your propaganda:

Mo'minin = Believers not, Mohsinin, Mohsinin are those who do good.
