    Glossary entry at WMW:
    Definitive thread: http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/6763.htm

And that term is sooo 2002... :D
Freshbot no longer runs. When it did, yes, it affected live PR, but not visible PR, which when released is what we call a PR update.

Here is a great resource for search engine terms.

Wtf are you huffing? Since when do PR exports happen daily?

Backed off because I went to bed???

No, seriously, do you ever re-read what you type before posting? There is a PR update going on, for some reasons only hitting certain sites. People, myself included, are posting links giving examples of it. You, however, keep repeating that it's not happening, criticizing others for saying truthfully that yes, it is.

Just out of curiosity, you don't happen to work for the Boston School of Electrolysis, do you? Or maybe you ever had the thought that certain types of unions might be needed...?

If you sincerely want to sit there and tell yourself that everyone who does see the update is hallucinating, fine, go off and play by yourself. Quit insinuating that your the genius posting amongst a thread full of idiots though. Please.

Research? I've lurked WMW for years. I did have to find the link to the term in the glossary, however. The link to the thread was bookmarked... I forget why.
I call it a crawl by Googlebot. :D
And it no longer behaves the same as it did, since the crawl caching proxy servers went online. Google can now pull the info from there, and not have to crawl the page as often.

But we are getting way off topic here.

Ohh I read quite well...nowhere did I mention the daily PR updates were exported...show me where I did and I'll paypal you $10.00

    Lets read again..

If you worked at Google you would see this...no exporting anything here.....

and I think by the number of people in this thread who have seen nothing compared to the ones who see low level changes it would be safe to say this is not a PR Update......

But hey you all are the genusis... Im just an SEO who is not succeeding lol

Ohh yea we are venturing way out now...but answer this since I think maybe one of us is confused.

Sitting outside the crawl would indicate that is not the same as a freshcrawl bot as I call it...I would think....othwerwise its just doublespeak no?

It takes a bit to understand, but it can pull content via Google services for later parsing and ranking. Read the whole thing, there is info in the comments, too. It also takes the load off of Google's bandwidth, and if you can grasp the concept, may be the reason so many sites went supplemental... the proxy servers do not seem to consolidate the instances of a page, and it ends up full, dumping lesser sites.

Oh jeez you may have found something there after all this silly shit.....indeed if they are parsing pages later it would seem to screw things up a bit and running out of a room on the proxy server is not a good thing at all.... they may not dump lesser sites but perhaps our own lesser updated pages?

I cant see them dumping Site A website...because Site B filled them up...but hey its Google and anything is possible....

then this would also bring things back full circle as they try to correct things we see low level PR updates for screwed sites and makes people think there is a full IBL / PR update underway

off to get a huff of fresh mountain air......

Sorry, you're right. My bad entirely... I did read that and must have unconciously copied you. It was way late when you posted your comment, and I slept in between, didn't mean to do that. Sorry, sorry. I usually don't plagerize.

Ah, high altitudes. Low oxygen. Makes more sense now. Sorry, thought it might be a drugs or a refusal to take your meds. Again, my bad.

Ok, last update started on June 29th, and then kinda of froze, just like this one. It didn't start moving again until July 13th at about 5:45pm, and was done in about an hour, maybe less.

So it could be a couple weeks before this one does it's thing, could be a few days. Who knows.
