Google hates me when it comes to Page Rank. No change seen here.

 

whatever it was, it seems to have rollbacked

if other members have seen it (btw, I myself haven't seen it), it was for a brief period - it happened few days before the last update as well so at best it is just a precursor to a pagerank update if at all

Yep I see it too - but I don't see the same for any of my domains - weird.

 

I do see it on those 2 sites , matt cutts is loosing pr on 2 datacenters

As for what I think you are seeing,,,,,,

I'ver mentioned this before and perhaps should write an article on it but at this point Googles SERPs are almost a living breathing entity that changes constantly....

Others may want to research "fresh crawl by googlebot" to better understand what is occuring.

onedollar: Read the thread. JackBurton has reported several sites are showing new PR.
My theory is that they took a sample, what with all the errors made lately, to test it. Seems it is working, and I fully expect more to follow.
The other possibility is that they dumped all previous info... and the small window means only highly changing sites got PR updates. wowdirectory has 2 million pages, you could manipulate your own PR with simple changes in internal link structure.

All I can say Net is one can lead a mule to water but no matter how many times you clobber it over the head with a 2 by 4 still can't force it to drink the water...
