This has been requested a few times in the past... The ability for people to display a badge on their site/blog/whatever to display information about their account. It could also be used in your signature (on forums that allow images in sigs). There is only one size option at the moment (too tired to go make a bunch of different graphics), and I'm sure some people will hate the graphic (open to suggestions on additional/replacement designs and sizes). Anyway... you can see various things about your account from an embeddable image now (posts, iTrader score, if you are in the top 20%, 5% or 1% of people using iTrader, etc.) http://forums.digitalpoint.com/badge.php
I spot bits of code in the corner of the icon! you might wanna fix that. Also I seen that this was coming out soon I just can't seem remember were
LOL I think that's part of the design? I think it is.. Otherwise Shawn would have noticed it himself (since it's pretty obvious) & removed it.
Yea but I don't think the 'Bits of code' in the corner belong there because it kinda stands out and it doesn't really serve a purpose being in the badge. So obviously Shawn is still working hard on perfecting it.
The "code" is intentional... Was too lazy to make a "Digital Point Forums" logo... so did it with code instead.
Ah now I see.. Any chance of getting different styles of the badges like vertical, Different color(s), sizes etc?
Do you know how annoying it was to make 1 style? lol But yeah... eventually probably... might add 1 at a time so I don't burn myself out doing it.
What is 'iTrader score (if you are a top iTrader user it will display that as well)' ?? It show me Top 1%. What it means ? DON.
Yea I know Ive had a plain billing system for the last year because I 2 lazy to update my site for the new versions I just hate coding stuff.. Even tho I am going to college for it.
Looks cool.. really cool. Having something like top 100 traders instead of of top 1% might be more worth. As of now users having around 120 itrader as well 500 itraders both fall under top 1%.
Why do we have a dynamic, misleading alternate text? <a href="http://forums.digitalpoint.com/" target="_blank" alt="Free Domain"><img src="http://forums.digitalpoint.com/badge-248090.png" border="0"><a/> Code (markup): I don't see anyone giving a free domain here? Sorry if I'm being a noob
Look at Shawns post above he was 2 busy to make a logo for digitalpoint forums so he used the code instead.
Oh you must have edited or something after I started replying Idk Its 4am give me a break . But you can probably change that and it should still work.
Actually I was lazy and used the Google keyword tool to determine keywords for the link and then it picks one randomly. When I'm not tired, I'll go through and weed out dumb ones (like Free Domains).
Ugly what BTW he is not a good designer so if you have anything with you better then share it with us. DON.
