Sitepoint Founder to Flippa Customers: Stop Whining or Go To DigitalPoint

    http://www.centernetworks.com/sitepoint-flippa-domain-sales

I'm going to tweet this. Maybe more people will and we can get SitePoint to stop treating customers like crap and raising the prices. Who do they think they are, eBay?

It seems Mark the owner of Sitepoint needs to get off his high horse and realize that treating customers like that wont help anyone, and that his business is going down the drain! No one is using Flippa! I went on there as a buyer and found it absolutely rubbish!

I registered in dp and sp almost at the same time .
But I like to staying and surfing around dp rather than sp .
Dp has its attraction that sp doesn't have .

I am pretty new to actually talking in the forums but I have bought a few sites from SP. I haven't had any problems but the few people I have talked to here are way more helpful and an overall better feel so far.

    effe 'em

SitePoint is a big name webmaster forum. They pretty much have higher members and PR than anyone else.

They are very strict though. I got an infraction for centering a sig link and one for a two sentence response. Despite this, at least you don't tend to see much fluff posts there.

One of the problems with DP is when people don't read through threads for answers and just add two words to a discussion that has already been put to bed. The cycle of re-posting crap just goes on and on.

Other than that, DP is my favourite webmaster forum. I think it was unprofessional what they have said there. There is a thread dissing DP on Warrior Forum as well.

    :D
