    Thats a really good news.

These guys are so dumb, and they are running ISPs:

Now, this actually seems like, it was ISPs fault, not the governments.

No doubt: dumb officials at the top of ISPs make some really dumb decisions.

Yup, good news, it was dumb. Based on this, if 9/11 happened in India, the authorities would have had banned airplanes all together. Use ground transportation.

I have read the news on rediff, the govt has clarified that the ISP's were asked only to block around 18 subdomains, and the ISP's blocked the top level domains completely.

I think Government should take action against these ISP's. They were asked to block certain hate spreading sites(which is understandable) but instead they blocked all blogs.

SIFY is the crappiest ISP available in India and their officials are dumbest. :)
I have used it 4 years ago, and immediately switched over after i had other options. SIFY only works for like 15 days a month. Total crap service.
    Get real. :)

Anyhow, that's not the point of this thread. ISPs actually banned all the subdomains on blogspot/blogger rather than blocking the 14 domains asked by govt. to ban. Who do you think is dumb?

I think it's the standard to have incompetent people working at ISPs, not the exception.
