    I'm looking for a logo for a new web-based business called Red Carpet Crafts.

    This will be a craft-oriented social community that will feature video based instruction on a number of craft-oriented topics, but primarily scrapbooking.

    The site is primarily targeted to middle aged females, but the logo should have a very contemporary look. I'd like a logo that's kind of self-contained and not sprawling.

    I'm open to the color scheme... but red is an obvious choice. The "red carpet" is meant to invoke Hollywood imagery... so perhaps gold would be an appropriate choice?

    I need the final version as vector files in .ai, .eps and .pdf formats. Winner will be paid via PayPal.

    Thanks to those who've entered so far.
    Some feedback....
    Razathru's is probably the closest, in that it's not entirely text based...and incorporates some graphic imagery.
    Razathru... I'm not feeling the picture at the top of the stairs. I'd also like to incorporate some aspect of the "crafts" or scrapbook into the design.
    And Aderain and Mihaita; appreciate the submission, but a plain text logo is not what I'm looking for.

    Still looking for something a little more sophisticated and graphical in its approach.

    Creative Rascal - I like the way the text is framed in the box. That said, it's a little plain & simple. Maybe a light source or gradience....

    Tindi Rindi & Mihaita - Same notes for both. Don't love the fonts, and that they're text based without any real logo or graphic imagery.

    And Aderain - Liked the previous try better. The book looks like a cheap stock graphic... and a reading book, not a scrap book. Sorry.

    The idea of "crafts" is getting lost in the submissions. If there's something that can convey the concept of crafts in general, or scrapbooking in particular. Don't have to hit the idea over the head, but something subtle.

    Are you looking for an icon with the logo, or a background image encompassing the lot, or both? have you seen any simiolar examples around other sites that you like?
