I have had a shared hosting account with IdeaStack (http://ideastack.com) for a few months now. Live support has been quick and there when i have needed it. They do offer a good service for the price you pay. I haven't ran into too many issues. The only issue i have had was this 500 apache error but i believe it has been fixed now. The hosting always fast with very minimal downtime which is probably due to maintanence. Good work IdeaStack. I look forward doing business with you for a long time.

Well, I'll jump in. I've been with ideastack for a few months as well, and there were a few problems at the start, and every now and then there's some downtime. However, once they put me on another server, those first few problems disappeared, and I am overall extremely satisfied with their service and their fees. Their customer support? Never needed it once my account was properly set up. Although prices seem to go down all the time, little by little, competition in the field is aggressive. Anyway, I took a chance because there weren't many reviews before I signed up, I hope that this helps someone make the right choice about Ideastack. Put it this way: I would be happy to find another host like Ideastack for another bunch of small sites that I have...

I forgot about posting here, but I'll give you an update. I am not with Ideastack anymore! Months ago everything really went to hell and I had the hardest time to get things sorted out, I couldn't and had to move all my sites away, with a lot of issues and hassle. So in brief, I'm NOT happy that I signed up in the first place, with hindsight, I would never sign up with them again! I don't know where they're at right now, I hope they are better managed, but I'm staying away from that name, for me it's compromised forever!
This is the worst hosting company I ever dealt with. I bought Bronze plan for seo hosting worth USD 126 for a part of my network of 25 websites. I created 3 accounts for three domains and let it go on its own. I few months later I discovered that my websites dissapeared without a trace. I demanded to recover the domains and here is what they said: "i m really sorry you don't have a backup plan with us S Nizar Support Specialist" I do not mind not having a back up - BUT WHY DELETING THE CREATED ACCOUNTS AND DOMAINS???????? Never deal with them!!! WORST HOSTING COMPANY IMAGINABLE!!!

From my experience, ideastack is the worst hosting company I ever found. Some idiots at their customer and technical support. Never use their service. My sincere request to anybody looking for a new host.
Agreed. PATHETIC hosting ever! Some cheap Indian customer support there. I also figured out they are using supermanagedhosting.com to offer their HILARIOUSLY POOR service. If I even helped SINGLE webmaster divert their mind against this IDEASTACK POOR HOSTING service, I will be blessed!
