In these trying times this is a good option. But can you please clarify me the following:

1)It can only be transferred to Visa Cards.Correct? No Master Card.

2)Need to add a Card 1st in my Paypal account and then only the withdrawal can be done. Please confirm.

3)How do I get to know that it has got credited to my Credit Card? From my Credit Card bank?

4)How many days generaly it takes?

5)Can the card holder name be different than the Paypal account holder's name?

Suppose in Paypal your name has been registered as Mail Kamal whereas in Credit Card its Kamal Singh. The moment you ask for withdrawal through CC the page opens where by default it shows the name with which you registered at Paypal. In that the 1st name you can still edit but the last name you cannot. It will then read as Kamal Kamal. Will then the withdrawal work after you key in the credit card details?

A slight off topic query. Am asking since it seems mailkamaal has got idea about paypal's credit card usage. My current credit card linked with paypal will expire in March 31st this year. How to update credit card information with the new one I shall be receiving? Also I read somewhere that a person had been defrauded of $3000 as fraudulent withdrawals. Are credit cards linked to paypal not safe from abuse? Thanks a lot in advance for the information.

A person who was defrauded have linked his cc and verified that too ( 1.95$ deducted by pp , then u hav to put code frm cc statement ) .. there is no need to verify the card ... just add card. dont verify it ...
and do withdrawal... ur card can b used to send money if u dont verify it .. still u can withdraw... :) Also updating cc is very very easy ... just is edit cc button inside profile...

I believe there will be two type of charges when you use credit card. from my understanding you are transferring $ into your credit card account. so there will be currency exchange fee of 2% at least and when you withdraw money from your credit card there will be transaction fees. Isn't it ?

U will get exact amount ...
Now paypal will transfer 495$ ( after deducting 5$ charge ) to ur card..
Ur card company convert the USD to INR..
My HDFC just gave me 51.65 yesterday for each $.
A great exchange rate comparing to Paypal.

Have you actually carried out this transaction in real? since i seriously doubt if CC would carry out all this transaction for you without any fees...

That is what i am thinking  There must be some charge from bank who provides CC to carry out this transaction. Let me ask my CC provider myself.

But this is what is written the moment you click on withdrawal mode by credit card.

Debit Cards (also called check cards, ATM cards, or banking cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.
