My Thoughts on the Left Wing

I want to clear up some misconceptions about me here real quick.

In my book, Liberals != Democrats

Liberals are very very far left-wing, and democrats are just left-wing in general. This may be different for some of you, depending on your own terminology.

I don't hate liberals. I don't hate democrats. I don't hate moderates. I dislike liberals' beliefs and do not agree with democrats, but at least I respect democrats for their opinions.

IMO, liberals have no solid foundation for their beliefs and/or have twisted beliefs. They are pessimists and believe "Oh, the world's falling apart... too many people are dying and there's nothing we can do because George Bush is a terrorist" --- there IS good in this world, and there IS truth.

Liberals just like to complain, whine, or make the President's job harder.

Democrats, on the other hand, have a solid foundation for their beliefs, but I just don't agree with their views. I respect them, and I don't hate them. I don't dislike them.

Moderates? Well, no opinion. No hate, no disrespect, no dislike, just no opinion.

Republicans/Conservatives? I think the left wing uses "Republican" as the right wing uses the term "liberal" - IMO they (republicans/conservatives) are the same thing, maybe conservatives are a little more right wing in my book.

Either way, I agree with their beliefs and thoughts and views. They make much more sense to me and have extremely solid foundations, many of are religious principals or moral values.

Anyway, that's to clear up some thoughts of "compuXP hates liberals"... I don't. I just dislike their beliefs and completely disagree with 99% of them.

The Dems used to be a reputable party. The new left is just extreme e.g progressive caucas (sp?). While that doesn't account for all of the dems, and some of them are descent-minded people...it just makes their party nearly impossible for me to vote for.

Honestly, I think our immigration policy is geared to favoring the religious right, but maintaining the welfare state. I could explain this, but I'm sure you could reason this out.

I think the repubs are mixed with liberal-leaning repubs, solid conservatives, and neo-con mentality. Sometimes it's an odd mixture. The ideas that CONSERVATIVES believe in are the most reputable beliefs on the the political market. Obviously to some degree I find them a bit too much, but both parties used to have a general conservative view. The repubs can reform, by going to the normal people for candiates, and refraining from supporting elite candiates. It's incredibly unlike to get corruption from all normal cats. They can change and reform, but I can't see the dems reforming since they're philosophy is permeated through the party and they'd have to change their platform first.

    hmmm... I'm:

    - pro choice

    - pro guns, it's every american's right to carry and own. Completely against the assault rifle ban.

    - For small government - keep them as far away from my daily life as possible

    - For less taxes - start spending better and taxing less.

    - Against the death penalty until the corrupt and biased legal system is fixed to ensure an innocent person can never be killed.

    - Pro legalization of marijuana and other drugs. And letting the millions of non-violent prisoners being released and saving millions in taxpayers dollars every year.

    - Against all unprovoked and unneccessary wars.

    - Against all unwarranted domestic spying. If it's reasonable then get a judge and a warrant.

My beliefs don't fit on a single side. But you can keep labeling me whatever you want ;)

    My thoughts exactly.

Im neither Democrat or Republican. Im common sense.

I believe in personal freedoms. Its that simple. Thats why I love the United States. I like not having any one religon shoved down my throat by my government. I like knowing a cop cant beat a confession out of me. I like being able to post whatever I want on the interent without having the police at my door.

Which is exactly why my opinions might seem "extreme" or "bush hating" or whatever... but I'm not willing to give the government the benefit of the doubt, and i'm certainly not willing to give up my freedoms to have some false blanket of security.

I said it before and I'll say it again - individuals rights are more important than anything.

I'm well aware. The BS with both political parties makes it hard to vote. Either way you chose your screwed.

I would say America was founded on a libertarian vs conservative arguement ie to what degree would the government be involved. Very small or small but with powers deemed necessary.

A country without any domestic spying resources is a very weak country. Someone would spy on you anyway wether it is the black-secret-police, the maffia or Foreign spies. The government should protect it's citzens against such by keeping a record on the infiltrators.

Yo-Yo you seem more like a libertarian based on your list when often you come across as being left wing.

I agree with everything on your list.

War is an expensive waste of money that is once again failing. And it has a terrible cost on the lives of the civilians and the soldiers involved. Its just another Vietnam.

80 years ago America use to be like China, minding its own business and making money.

On another note though, Kim Jong is a psychopathic megalomaniac. I don't know how you can defend him.

Yeah and then came the depression. Millitary investments help growth in the longterm.

I think it's his 'philosophic' approach to Bush.

If it was vietnam we'd have to really have some rivals to fight. The biggest killer are IED's, because the cowards CAN'T face our military face to face.

And failing....? Well, I'd rather let history determine that. I think it's a bit subjective to say that, at the moment.

And then we had our oil nationalized by the middle east and mexico...a virtual jail anal rape. IF you're speaking of isolationism, it's not a good policy.
Well yo-yo believe it's his right to defend his country, even though that just means he leaves the domestic killing to himself ie I can kill my people and take away their individual rights, but don't you dear attack me and believe I'm relieved of the right to defend myself. Lmao.....I mean dictator have rights, too....lol.
