Banner Tracking

    I am going to be placing a banner on my website for a company and I want to be able to keep track how many users click through on the banner...how can i do this?

    It depends on what tracking or analytics software you have.

    A crude but effective method would be to set up the outgoing link as a redirect, and then count how often that url is requested.

    Hmmm...I'm pretty sure Analytics can do this, in the Site Overlay option, it tells you how many times each link/banner was clicked.
