With our Web Based Ftp Client you can access any FTP account through a Web interface - no matter whether there is a firewall or not. You can use ftp4net for the complete administration of your homepage, downloading files or just making small changes. Its a total web based ftp solution.

I think you will find our site useful. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Please Note: NONE of your information (such as FTP server, user name, password, file contents, etc) will be logged. Those informations are stored in "cookie" in your browser, sent to BossFTP web server when you did a request, and deleted when you click Logout or close all browser windows. We record connections in the interest of secuirty.

I think it is cool, the interface is clean and it looks usable... - The only thing I dont get is - why would a webmaster need it since we can use the same FTP client we used to initially build the site?

Or the file browser from the cpanel??

I just dont get the fundamental idea behind it...

    Thanks

The site looks great it has a nice look and feel to it but I have to agree with
joplumber unless you are offering something unique I don't understand why
    someone would use your site.

I think the purpose would be to access your files if you are away from your computer, from any computer. Makes sense, kinda like PC Anywhere, or Access My PC, but for FTP.

    Hi tipsguru,

I'm webmaster (and coder) of BossFTP. It looks like you copied and paste (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=10247614&postcount=2) my Privacy Policy in Term Of Use (http://www.bossftp.com/term.php) without remove the 'BossFTP' word:
    and add
    LOL
In short BossFTP have no connection of ftp4net (your site maybe down now), and DOES NOT use net2ftp script like ftp4net (i view the cache of google. I'm so familiar of net2ftp login screen :) ).

So, tipsguru, please don't repeat 'sent to BossFTP' again and again... (some of this can be found by googling)
    LOL
