Do you think that there is an important role of Indians in DP?

That's why I quit my last job. Those Indians were molesting me lol They don't know that they make us feel uncomfortable. I respect Indians for their respect towards others including me.

This thread sucks...There are a lot of posters I like that happen to be from India and a lot I don't like that happen to be from India. Why do we keep having threads highlighting that there area a lot of Indians on here?

There are a lot of PEOPLE on here. This forum is busy!

Why is it when I rightfully give a guy a hard time and he happens to be from India, I am giving Indians a hard time.
Or when some loser scams someone and happens to be from India, there are threads started defending the "honest people of India"

This thread sucks because like so many before it, it just tries to divide people by nationality and assign a value rather then just on the quality of their posts or their SEO/Webmaster knowledge.

Well its not like we call each and every person Mr. and Sir. in India.
Normally we call ealder people, Respected persons, Our teachers, as sir.
As far as touching is concern, I'd say, stay away. Because your business clients are gays most likely.
No we dont touch each other while talking, specially shoulder/chest.

Totally agree with yfs1...this thread really sucks. There is no doubt that maximum no. of scammers/spammers are Indians. I am 100% sure that the max. no. of banned ppl here are Indians....I have a reason for that... Not every Indian out here is doing their webmaster or website's business seriously. Its just another source of income for 99% of Indians here. Most of them get banned from AdSense or some other program cos they lack seriousness in such programs. Also, things in India are a bit lighter...its less strict and everything is not properly organized. For e.g :- An American would think twice or maybe not enter a road which has a NO ENTRY sign on it, but an Indian would follow that road cos he knows all he have to do is pay Rs. 50 bribe to the constable if at all hes caught.

My point here is that alot of kids from India come here and spoil things. I am not sure but I myself am not aware of a single person in India who is above 30 and is making money ONLY from the Internet. From what I guess there might be a cpl or more such ppl in DP.

Making stupid posts, duplicate ids, scams etc. is no big deal for kids here in India cos they know its something which is short term and for fun. In addition to that you also get some money. Internet was a total different world before things like AdSense started. There were ppl making real websites and real money. Things were far more polished then. Now people make websites for adsense rather than a hobby or to pass information. Some years ago websites were made which represented your business. Nowadays people start with websites and then say its their business and a company. This is not wrong but its quite amazing to see how the Internet has changed in just 3-4 years. IMO the Internet is getting exploited by kids for worst.

Most of them seem to come here for chitchat and not learning or making any useful contribution to the forum. There are a few exceptions like Ajeet and Nitin.

The Buy, Sell, Trade forum is the only place where Indians are playing an important role.

It's just an opinion.

I've just now read this response. I think what's important is being willing to learn, not from Indians, Americans ... anyone. We shouldn't differenciate at all. Whoever has something to add here, can do so. Why labelling or holding someone/yourself back because of nationality, is nonsense.

I agree that we dont need any - "hey look at me, I am indian" or "Kiss me, I am indian" Kind of threads.

but that doesnt mean that you go and cross the line and start braging about what Indians do(Which is totaly your assumption).

you said not every Indian out here is doing their webmaster's business seriously. Give me the example of a single country, where each and every member is doing his webmaster's job seriously.
you talk about 99% of Indians, and you dont even know .1% Indians.
you are sure that maximum no of banned people are from India, and I would ask how are you so sure about that?

as far as I see, not more than 5% of total Indian community are banned either on DP or Adsense.
and the people who are banned from DP, it was their fault.
for example. supermario and alien. they are banned for having duplicate IDs, suspecting they are the same guy, but thats not true. I've met both of them yesterday, and I can guarantee they are two different persons (Cousins, sharing the same computer).
So this doesnt make them like you should have shame on.

First get the facts, then talk so sure..
Its not like every Indian is superb or 99% of them suck.
you can find as good and as bad as people from any other country..
and thats it.

 

Like I said yes its my assumption and I do have facts to back that.

Almost every American takes this business seriously and hence they are the once who suceed in this...far more better than Indians.

Look at the percentage of Indians who are in this business and then have a look at AdSense threads....compare the % of Indians saying they are banned...They might be less in nos. but the % is quite more.

Thats just a one off case. If they are not guilty they can come ahead and prove it to Shawn. I am sure Shawn will think over it. Why are they not coming forward? Cos maybe they don't like DP cos it banned them? Thats again Indian attitude.

I am 100% sure that I have correct facts. Plus it was a post which I made thinking of what I feel...I might be wrong....but again...I dont go thru these forums thinking I am an Indian...I know many Indians wont like my posts here...but facts simply remain facts...I have very good examples but I wont like to say it here. All the frequent visitors here (Indians) are quite matured and really are an honor to this forum but again ...I am talking the percentage not the number.

I'll always stick to whatever I said.

BTW please dont expect me to post something else here. This is a debate which will never end. Everyone loves their own country and have a soft corner for their countrymen.
