Google has now launched the Beta program for displaying Adsense in RSS feeds, you can apply here. I'd be interested to hear if any members are trialling this, I'll be trying it in my blog (if accepted) but with minimal RSS traffic don't expect much (if anything).
I'd expect (and hope) so, I'm applying now so if accepted will be able to give you a definite answer at some point.
I don't think I'll be adding it to my feed, at least not for my main site. I don't think I want to put ads in my rss. I'm on the fence on this one.
Have you checked the Best Practices they suggest? www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=20134
Sure... http://www.seroundtable.com/ http://www.seroundtable.com/index.rdf or http://www.seroundtable.com/index.xml If you haven't subscribed to the blog, why not!
tlainevool, that is the full entry feed. the two listed above are the normal feeds, that only have abstracts.
Sure wish I even knew where to look to see this. Using one of the urls you listed above, rustybrick, I subscribed to the feed via bloglines. (I was already subscribed, but just in case it was the wrong url, I unsubscribed, and resubscribed to one of the urls above). Anyhow, I don't see any ads in bloglines when I look at the feed, so I clicked on one of the posts taking me to the post, and all i see there is the textlinkads ad. So, I'm confused. Where are the adsense ads supposed to appear?
Again, the AdSense feeds are not working. I emailed Google for help. It seems as if its on Google's side. But it can be something we did wrong on our side. Stay tuned...
You should be able to see them directly under the brief description. Title Description AdSense Ad --------- Title Description AdSense Ad and so on.
