Please review my wallpaper site

Its been 7 months and the traffic is steadily increasing. Page view is 5k. Adsense revenue is not so good. AND THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE BOUNCE RATE IS 40%. Please review my site and tell me how can i improve the site and decrease bounce rate.

The site looks ok and you have some great pictures, but the 2 adsense ads that
are within the body of the page is affecting the overall layout of your content.
I think you should use a different size ads in place of those 2 ads,
horizontal ads would work better with the layout of your site.

i tried changing the ads between but then the CTR downs a bit.

I think your best bet to solve your problem is to use Google Analytics
It is free but gives you a world of information
Check your hits (visitors) entrance page, keywords used to find your site,
etc. and make changes on statistics (track to see what is best - they have the information) and then you will know and not guess.
SEO is not an exact science, you have to use what works for you.
Google uses your meta tag description so be sure and try changing it for effect
The description only gets them there - other items keep their interest
Remember, what works for me may not work for you.

one thing i can't stand is having to scroll sideways, maybe edit the layout to stop this?

I tried searching for a specific term, but it gave me results from google instead of a result as to whether I could find images with my term on this site. I guess if you have no results from the site at least say that, then the google results. Don't the offsite google results just send me off the site though?

I recommend some welcome text and instructions to the user, example:

"Welcome to http://yowallpapers.com/, where Yo, Wallpapers ARE FOUND.
Use our easy index on the left or the search gadget to grab the papers you want and pull 'em down."

Something that adds to the 'attitude' of the site, and might cause people to remember the URL.
