Yeah, just got the email tonight from Yahoo that Buzz is now open ... of course, since it uses Nofollow links there's not much SEO use in it ...

Do not follow links aren't always a bad thing. I get mega traffic from some of those do not follow links.
Do not follow links actually count they just don't help improve your PR which isn't the same thing as search ranking.
Traffic is the root cause for getting back-links isn't it?

My Post How to Report Website or Blog to Google (http://www.dailytechnologytips.com/2008/08/how-to-report-website-or-blog-to-google.html) got 9 buzz till now. But for coming in first page, you need more and more buzz, not so easy.

Traffic is traffic. You may not get the SEO benefits, but someone coming to your site may decide to link to your site in some way. Don't forget about that

Very True. Many focus to much on SEO and forget about traffic.

Exactly, and the end point of SEO is to get traffic, so that irony presents itself

Would love to hear if it is driving any decent traffic to anyones site. I agree that if it drives traffic, it is already worth it's weight in gold!

I have already subscribed a time ago when it was launched but not getting much traffic from there. Digg and StumbleUpon is giving me more traffic than Yahoo Buzz.

Thanks for the info. I am interested in visitors for some of my sites, not just links. (It is a performance artist site) Yahoo Buzz is a good way of getting free marketing.

I got it in my article. It's good to have one. Unfortunately no one is voting in my article LOL! Anyway, they still have to improve it because right now you have to enter your article URL manually as the buzz won't do it automatically.

Did not you read my post? Buzz take your article automatically by the Buzz button you put in each post.
