A question about building backlinks with article directory.

If I submit 10 articles to an article directory for example, Ezinearticles.com

Does it count as 1 backlink or 10 backlinks?

It will definitely count as 10 backlinks + if you give two links in each article then 20 backlinks will be credited by google in your domain.

But submitting these article freqently will harm you instead of benefit. So submit one article daily or once or twice a week and carry on till you want backlinks

Remember the fundas of ezine to get popularity
1) unique content
2) links in resource box only
3) latest or demanded topic
4) useful for visitors ( informative + attractive)

Using places like ezine are one way to get some backlinks. I use them and find them pretty good. I believe in using a variety of methods though.
