I need a professional logo designed for a client details below

Brief Summary

I need a logo for a company called "Austin's Surplus"...This is a site that sells surplus merchandise through eBay and ecommerce site.

Needs to be fun but commercial looking. Like fun colors like ebay etc..don't copy please but something in the general idea.

lol so he has no clients , he just submits these submissions to another forum where the contest is for $100 and IF they pick one that he has submitted from here he pays out $50? talk about misleading.... make sure you post on that other site he has submitted to that the content is yours adn you can collect your full payment if you win.

Ariestoteles you are making this seem as if I am doing something wrong. I have checked over both TOS and there is nothing telling me that I cant do this I am acting as the middle man I get designs and present them to my client (who I have obtained permission from to post the contest on other forums) and he choose's hes logo and then he i pay the winner.

I wrote a private message to the contest holder asking him permission to advertise his contest and get the maximum number of designs submitted and go the permission to post the contest on other blogs and forums.

the double post was an accident i clicked quick reply one and it seemed as if it wasnt loading and then i copied it and pasted it and submitted it again.

major trouble what is the maximum they can do to me if what i was doing is wrong ill tell you they will eliminate my account WOW thats gonna kill me

The problem here is that your are running this as an isolated contest here on DP, when in reality you have no say over who the actual winner is. In fact, you are merely one of many people submitting designs (which don't happen to be yours) to a contest on another site.

When a contest is run here, 99% of the time a winner is chosen and paid. In your case, your 'client' might not pick any of 'your' designs leaving everyone here out of pocket.

People here don't need a middle-man and obviously designers are familiar with that site so why exactly do they need you?

You have misrepresented your intentions here, there is no definite prize money for a DP contest as the result is decided elsewhere, not by you, and considering multiple submissions.

IMO just a shady way to try n make some $ for doing next to nothing, whilst leading people on that this is a legitimate DP contest where someone will DEFINITELY win and get paid - this is not the case.
