Hello Everyone,

I have a domain name registered with godaddy until march 2009, but because I am setting up a very large company under the domain, I would like to secure it for a few years.

I have just gone on to extend the registration but I have found they do not accept moneybooker, I really need to extend the registration for a few years but I am not able to unless I have paypal or a credit card (and I dont have either of them) so what do I do?

Is there anyway I could use another domain registrant?

Thanks

Jonathan

check NoDaddy.com or pure domain forums. You'll see godaddy is no secure for huge project where whole company depends on domain.

Try anyone else (name.com, namecheap.com, ...................), dollar here dollar there is nothing.

As you've mentioned that you're planning for "setting up a very large company under the domain", I think you should have both credit card & Paypal, just have it and try to register the domain name from a reliable registrar.

I have had a large legal battle with paypal and no longer use them, and luckily I do not need them for the company. Also credit cards are not safe to use when setting up a large company, you can very quickly over spend without realising. Can anyone recommend a good domain registrar that accepts moneybooker or something?

Thanks

But it will cost You money. But still better to have Your domain safe, if project is worth xxx times more then few dollars spend. Do whatever You want :D

Jon1771, try to transfer the domain to another registrar, Namecheap, for example! If you do this, your domain will be extended authomatically!
