Hi,

I have 2 questions and would like to hear what any real experts have to say as I am totally unsure and it may be imortant in years to come :

1. I have schoolout.info and schoolzowt.com and started off using the latter domain but was told by a guy that the former is better because people will be able to remember it ? Natually I would have purchased the .com or .org but they were taken !

2. What is the best way to link up sub domains. I currently use schoolsout.info/uk/westmidlands/birmingham which seems very long. I was thinking of schoolsout.info/birmingham and if I ever go into the U.S. then simply put birmingham/us however that would be a long way off the things are going at present.

Any advice appreciated.

Kind regards - JB

First one is better for real project. Doesnt have any type-ins, but it's easy to remember and makes sense for SEO.

You should ask yourself first - "Is this For Search Engine"?
1. ".com" is better for SEO than ".info". If you want to make traffic from search engine I suggest ".com" .Your ".com" is poor pronounciation. This is lower its value and as hard to remember for human.

2. Your mention is not sub domain. It's sub directory. For SEO , sub dir should not deeper than 1 sub dir. I suggest schoolsout.info/us-birmingham for better SEO.

I would go for schoolout.info. It has a style.

Yes, .com domains have more chances to get better traffic!
