I'll suggest do not buy Yahoo stock at the moment because currently market is expecting Microsoft to buy Yahoo which is keeping Yahoo stock up but when market will loose hope, Yahoo's share will fall 30%

i dont see yahoo doing to well for a few years unless they merge with aol or one of the two halves that time Warner is splitting aol into.

You just need to get a trading account from the likes of etrade. Do not need to contact anyone.

(and u must be 18+ in order to purchase any stocks - i don't know if thats relevant to you tho..)

get a broker they will cost you some $$ but save you money in fees and the experience - well worth it :)
