Yahoo killed my rankings for all my targeted keywords today.
I hope it comes back soon. This happen to me before, and took 3 months to recover:confused:
We will just have to continue what we're doing and hope for the best.
Good luck to all.

Same here.
It was like they turned a switch on July 31 and they wiped out 80% of my Yahoo traffic.
Turn that switch back off, Yahoo! (http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0geu6_N95NIFDgB_1ZXNyoA?p=how+to+refinance+a+mortgage+loans+new+york&fr=yfp-t-501&ei=UTF-8)

I also found update started in the middle of the week. Most of my websites are getting better position. My opinion is that algorithms are looking very similar to older Google algorithms from the middle of 2007.

It looks life they are trying to get more advertising by killing the search results. Then PPC will increase thats the theory. Will they ever learn?

This is strange. My Frugal Gardening 101 course used to be on page two on Yahoo, and now it's not there, but my website landing page is. They must have changed their algorithms as well.
Actually, my site shows up three times in the first four pages for the keywords "frugal gardening".

Their last change is complete disaster. New SERPs prefer totally irrelevant, unimportant or simply just not the best sites. No wonder why they need help from Google or Microsoft to survive

I started to receive some Yahoo traffic to my websites like a month ago, first time in few years. Small traffic, but it was sweet to see it finally. It seems that big part of it is gone now :)

Yahoo is a complete joke. My site has been within the top 5 results on Page 1 for a major keyword for over 5 years. A few days ago, my site was pushed all the way back to Page 10. It's the same scenario for all of my major keywords. Pathetic.

Information about new update at Yahoo's Blog:

This update by Yahoo has unfairly penalized many old, authoritative sites. Yet another terrible move by Yahoo.
