MSN not showing all backlinks either

I have noticed today that MSN has stopped showing all backlinks. When I do the link:www.mysite.com command I get 1 of 142. But when I click to go to the second page I says 1 of 20.

A few days ago I was able to view all 142 backlinks, but today I can only view the first 20. Has anyone else noticed this?

I had this happen to me. Although page 2 only showed me 20 if I went back to the first page I could still click page 2,3, 4, 5, etc. to view all the rest of the links. Maybe try looking at the first page again and seeing if this works for you.

Since its release MSN has been quirky like this since the release. Usually the correct number is sometime when you get to page 9 or 10. They also have some issues with displaying their results (Things like saying showing results 1-10 of 324444 and only having 7 results on that page).

It's happening to me too... The only backlinks I saw was that in directories... All backlinks from forums sigs are gone... What is happening?

I suspect it is a bug. If it is it's a crazy one to let go.

It's been doing that to me for a few weeks. I posted a thread about it here at that time, and they suggested it was due to them not showing all the results, the same way google does. I still have no idea. I can only view 12 results out of something like 200

checking the pages I have indexed there...I just got 3 different #'s. My links have different numbers also.

Finally, MSN says I have more links than pages. Since my pages rank well, its ok.

scott heres what i just came up with for purepimps.com

page 26 shows 251-260 of 27,319 containing link:www.purepimps.com (0.08 seconds)

page 27 shows 261-270 of 270 containing link:www purepimps com (0.19 seconds)

there is no page 28...etc
