No of course its not true. Having an appraisal from a website like that is like getting an appraisal from a "magic eight ball" not accurate at all.

Don't pay heed to anything automatic online mate. Its the actual people who know the stuff, no script can ever tell you those things right. However its a good way to comfort yourself when you are bored :)

domains are only worth what you can liquidate them for. domain estimators may have good tools for finding backlinks or other info, but not for pricing.

automated estimates are most often than not, really far away from the real value of the domain, but in any case, you and the potential reseller/enduser can only determine the domain's real value, you might have a crappy domain but who knows, if someone took interest and need that domain then its worth more than other domains.

ha, it said my blog was worth 37$ and the script had a big php error across the header :D
