I have a dilemma about wheather I should incentivize my clickthroughs and sign ups to a reputable auction site's affiliate program. The idea is to provide a free refund or gift certificate to the viewer who signs up to the auction website.

The merchant pays a handsome amount to the affiliate to which 50% could be refunded back to the consumer. It does not cost the consumer anything to join this merchant and although not the simplest form of signup (involved placing a bid on one item first to complete commission requirements)

The scenario I am looking at is with regards the the ever increasing cost of Fuel and the offer of recieving a free fuel voucher as the incentive.
Another option is to offer a free donation to a charity of their choice to the value of 50% of the commission earned from the signup.

If an auction listing was set up with a buy it now price of say $.10 to donate say $10 to charity how it would then be requirement to sign up as a member of the site.

If your lost let me know.

I have not been able to find any information on their merchants affilate pages in regards to this.

It would provide me with a method of obtaining signups and would be a positive outcome by donations to charities.?

Everyones thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ritch.
