All of you guys are reporting great rankings on MSN for new sites. I am no where to be found on msn, not even for my 3 word keyword which is the main title of my page, which is the same as my url. Google is slow at updating and so Yahoo is my best friend right now ;) Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Maybe my title is too long? I have submitted to many directories although I admit I need to work on establishing more reciprocal links. For people that rank good on MSN, do you have lots of one-way liks, or majority reciprocal link exchanges?

I find that everything I've always heard about doing proper seo, such as matching your page title to keywords to description to h1/h2 tags to body content is working really well.
I've always done these core things, though I've thought/known for some time now that google could care less about the efforts.

For people that rank good on MSN, do you have lots of one-way liks, or majority reciprocal link exchanges?I would say 75% of our links are one-ways and 25% are reciprocals.

Who is your competition occupying these top 3 spots. What are they doing different?
As regards backlinks, I rarely reciprocal link, so all one-way for me.

My competition is steep, they are all very well established sites, but they don't nearly have as much keyword density as I have. I rank #1 and #9 for those keywords on Yahoo but MSN seems to like, old and established sites, complete opposite of what I'm reading on this forum so I'm a little confused. I guess I am in a very competative field.
