Do you have a Clickbank affiliate account or any accounts on some of the affiliate networks?

If you have not signed up with these networks, you have nothing to promote. It is quite hard for people to follow this thread and teach you the stuffs step by step.

Here's how to start:
Get a blog on www.blogger.com, join a free affiliate program (like the one available through the 2nd link in my signature), and check the Freebies area of DigitalPoint daily.

Why not give yourself a try with wealthy affiliate. I think they are the leading membership site that has the resources to do bum marketing. Travis is one of their member.

Write some articles and blog posts. ping your blog http://pingomatic.com/
post the articles with links back to your blog http://www.imstarter.com/article-marketing-list-of-reprint-article-sites.html
set up a myspace, digg,stumbleupon and delicious and drive traffic back to your blog

make sure you use social book marks to link back to your webpage/blog/landing page to gain back links so google likes your site, use free tools on the internet such as wordtrackers keyword suggestion tool. Find keywords that get a hell of alot of traffic, BUT has low competition! Then Post comments on blogs which have high pr, with your link in the url section, make sure its not spam tho. Theres are some tips I use and am sure alot of other people do as well.
