I dont know if this is in the right catagory, but its relating to my server.
I purchase some traffic from a member on here(100,000) and he told me that i needed more cpu because the site was suspended for too much traffic.
Can someone explain to me what cpu is? I thought that a site runs off of bandwith.
Any help would be apprecaited...

CPU - Central Processing Unit. This is the MAIN part of any computer or server. This processes the website requests and makes calculalations. If your website has more traffic then the CPU of the server has to do more work. That is why he is saying that you will need more CPU for your website.

For more information, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU
