$30 Logo & Banner Contest

Hello designers,

I need a logo and a banner for my forum PostExchanger.com (http://www.postexchanger.com).

Logo:
-The logo must be able to fit/blend nicely into my forum. So I prefer that when you present it show me how it would look on my forum.
-I like high resolution web 2.0 logos & banners

Banner
- Leaderboard size
- Animated would be nice.
- It should say what my forums do. Buy/trade posts with other people, or get more forum posts, jump start your forum, boost your forum, be creative.
- It should have my site's name in the banner

Payment
- I will pay via Paypal
- If you only wish to do the logo it's $15, and its $30 for both logo and banner.

I will leave feedback for each submission.

The deadline is two weeks from now, Aug 6. I may extend it or end it early if I choose.

The logo is nice, it can be a little bigger though. Also, im not sure about this, but do you think some people will look at the X in a dirty way? Not sure if thats good or not, any other opinions. Also, 5 days and only 1 entry. cmon, the price went up if you didn't see, its $35 now.

Kates: Thats not a banner, and the logo is overlapping the board, dont link the thin text. Sorry try again.

MindFreakas: I really like the animated banner, except one thing. When I said be creative I meant for the person designing it to be creative not to be included in the banner. But the banner is nice, I'd like to see a logo from you because I want the banner to have the same "logo", I can buy logo's only but not banners only.
Hetzenauer: I like the the whole text including the envelope, but I am not sure what those things are the the right and left of it, im not too crazy about it. Keep the text though, and I want something more memorable to go alone with it. Keep in mind that this is for the header.

Thank you for your comments, but as you said I have made it in my second entry. Not only 'X' but whole name is bigger then my first entry. you may have noticed. If you want to improve that I will surely improve it. Thanks.

designerboy: It looks good, but im not sure if it would look good if it was just like that on the header of my forum. I'd like to see what it would look like if it was inplace of my current header.
Ladybugz: I like what you have done, but there are a few things, maybe you can slow down the text on the right a little. I like the logo you have on the right, but I would like to see a backwards P and a regular E. Also it would be nice if the design filled up the whole banner space somehow.

Well I am saving all frames in .psd but you will need Adobe ImageReady to edit the animation (from creative suite 2) and it is a bit complicated :( but yes, it can be changed.

I would love to see a logo/header from you. BTW, is that pin with the arrows unique, as in did you get it from anywhere else? I am very interested in your design, and it looks like you are in first place :)

Well, coolwanz is not able to make the logo due to an emergency. So Im going to have to keep looking.

Well the contest is over, and the one banner I liked the most was by coolwanz, he has not submitted a logo, and said he had an emergency to deal with. I PM'ed him again. So right now I am looking for a logo, I like Silver, and designerboy's logos. I will be contacting one of you soon if I dont hear from coolwanz.

Ok, I was able to get intouch with coolwanz and everything worked out fine, he is an excellent man, and one of the best designers here on DP. The contest is closed, thanks for everyone who participated.
