Hi All,

We are running a logo contest for our webmasters forum http://www.webmastersheart.com . The current logo you see has been uploaded to make up for the time being.

1) Logo should be conceptual and go with the site theme(objective). Just play with your imagination, even logo can be without the full site name in it. Concept is most important.

2) Should be appealing, modern, brandable and professional.

3) Don't have any color peference but should go with our site.

4) For optimum size, please look at our current logo at http://www.webmastersheart.com

5) Should be 100% vector/scalable

6) Slogan is "Discussing a better WEB"

7) Contest will run till Sunday, 27th July 2 PM GMT.

8) I have uploaded a background image of our forum at http://www.webmastersheart.com/logo_background.gif , for you see how your logo is coming with our design.

9) Payment via Paypal

Feedback will be given to each participant.

Please note:
I see that the full name of the site is getting more prominence than the concept. Concept is most important than the full name. So Please work on a concept, give it a prominence, not the full name of the site. Look at "lunamaya" and "watari" ...both made good efforts

You can try concept with short name like "WMH" or "WH", if it feels comfortable to you.

I suggest to the contest holder not to accept any PM entries for his own safety and the safety of the business involved, why? because there are certain "designers" around here that have been involved in some shady and illegal practices related to design ripoff and copyright violation. So i suggest all entries are posted here. Because sometimes the contest holder is not aware about this.

If you dont have nothing to hide, why send your design via PM if youre going it supposedly because you want to protect your work, then watermark it and thats it ;)
