Was it resold?
I thought it sold MONTHS ago...maybe 4 or so months back.
I do remember seeing a Pizza.net listing very recently and wondering
if the sale on that one fell apart.
I look forward to seeing what they do with it.

The initial deal with Pizza.com on Sedo fell through and was just recently purchased by another company a few weeks to a month ago. Both parties agreed to keep it as hush hush as possible so dont really know what the second company actually paid for it.
Pizza.com Sold to a new buyer. (http://buythistld.blogspot.com/2008/07/pizzacom-sold-to-new-buyer.html)

Pizza.com Sold to a new buyer. (http://buythistld.blogspot.com/2008/07/pizzacom-sold-to-new-buyer.html)I was about to catch pizza.com in the early 1990's but I was talking about it and ended up just going to Domino's and buying pizza! I probably wouldn't have got it anyways then considering I valued a pizza's worth more than I did the .com.. even though it seemed that it would be worth at least in the $xxx,xxx-$x,xxx,xxx withing 10-15 years... If I could go back then with the option of buying the pizza or the pizza.com domain.. I'd still buy the pizza!!! I'm not that good with long term investing... also, the pizza was really good :D... and now $x,xxx, xxx really isn't that much money! :) I want some pizza now. yummay!! :D

Aaaaah...
Thanks for clarifying.
I think the .net might have suffered the same fate as I remember
seeing it either listed or in pre-listing very recently...and thinking to
myself...I guess the previous sale did not go through.
I wonder if there are some compiled statistics on how many of these big sales actually go through.

what would you do if you owned pizza.com? Could you just put adwords on it and make a living? what other ways to monetize.

Unless the current owner is dead...
I'm sure pro assassins have a fee lower than what that domain would cost.

Don't we all. I remember seeing Paypal advertising in the London Evening Standard for investors. I wasn't sure what to make it of it so brushed it to one side. I still kick myself today over that.
