Is there a way to access file description?

I'm trying to read an uploaded file and retrieve it's title and copyright field from the file description.

Is there a way for us to access file description that give me access to properties similar to the "Right Click -> Properties" function in windows?

Through php/linux command? It's a tough one

That is a tough one. I just googled the crap out of it and I couldn't find anything but this.

I dont have an account there so I can't download and take a look at that, but that SOUNDS like it might be what you're looking for. Google comes up with nothing relatively close.
