When I search Google for sites linking to my site, the number is 11. This figure is way too low, because I`ve submitted my site to a lot of directories,portals, list...you name it!! How come Google only says 11?

Google only lists a smattering of the links about which they know.

your lucky google doesnt show any for me but I know I have loads. Use MSN to check your links.

if you have recently submitted your site to directories etc, it will take time. Usually Google updates its back links almost every month, but lately i haven't seen any back link update in the last 3 or so months.

Even after the update, Google won't show alll back links.
