Also, could use an intro of some kind. Unless you know exactly what you looking for, is possible to feel 'lost' I just did not see a 'direction.' I mean, yes, I know from title it is about credit cards and stuff but other then that I did not know.

Good design, needs a focus.

I like the idea of taking a traditional service, and trying to mix in some nice graphics and branding. Does anyone else think this is an effective strategy?

Yes the error is because your search.php page is missing, either replace it with something like a Google Site Search or solve the script issue ASAP.
Otherwise the site has some real nice graphics .. Keep it up.
