How does this website look? Does the layout need to change?

I think it looks good. The cartoons are kinda childish at first but as you get into it they really rub off on ya.

The navigation is easy in which is a good thing. I do agree with other members here about the images looking to cartoon like. With your site, you are reaching a audience of around ages 18 - and up in which are adult's. Perhaps get little creative with new images doing adult things. Maybe someone holding a map with a X marks the stop to get to the treasure. Eh, i'm not creative when having no coffee this time in the day.

I didn't see a slogan anywhere on your homepage. Perhaps add a short catchy slogan around your title image. This just my opinion and you can pretend i didn't say anything. One thing for sure is, i know few folks who have had success using your site.

I don't think the cartoons are bad for a site design, it just depends on what the site's theme is. In this case it's hunting and earning treasure, like a game, so the cartoons work.

On a side note, I forgot all about this site and I logged into my old account and says I have $18.20 due :) cool

i visited your websites, it is okay, but not so much eye catching, the design and placement, do not attract the visitors, it is just only a one time call and then the visitor leave your website. To make it interesting and superb, search the different website of the same catagory and consult with a professional designer. First make a layout of your website on paper, then consult it with designer. More over, the current trend of screen resoultion if 1024x768, i think your website is on 800x600, so change its resoultion, it will not only give a better look to your site but provides you more space to place your objects. :)

In general I have an overall favorable impression. Two comments:
1. The black text under "Announcements" gets lost in the leaves. I think either a different background or a different text color would make it more readable (for that area only - generally it's great).

2. I wasn't exactly sure why I was there. When I landed on the page, nothing told me right away, "This site is about ..." (but I did see where I could find out if I wanted more... so ... )

Anyway, my opinion and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee at starbucks ;-)
