www.AmazingPlanet.info (http://www.AmazingPlanet.info) is my current work in progress. Basically it is a site dedicated to giving information about amazing places to visit around the world. My aim is to add at least 100 unique articles on amazing places. I have also added a news and articles section. The news part brings in latest news from sites such as EcoEarth, Google News and Yahoo News. The articles will be a combination of unique articles and ones taken from article sites.

The site is a joomla site using a rockettheme.com template.

Im Using the EasyGallery component for the Gallery, Xe-media component for the Video section and FeedGator for the RSS feeds.

My aim is to regularly add new places and wonders from around the world, I already have a list of 100 to add to get me started, which will probably take me a few months.

The color scheme is good, ad placement is good......
Concentrate on building content and back links......and everything will fall into place......Good Luck! :)

Edit: There are 2 contact us links, which looks a little funny since they are soo close each other

Nice looking site .. just a couple of things that I'd mention;

1. I found the links in the footer kind a hard to read
2. Your HTML doesn't validate correctly
3. Your document structure in terms of headings hierarchy is a little off ... you don't have any H1 or H2 headings but you do have a number of H3 elements.

Anyway just my thoughts ... best of luck .. nice slide show!
