Hi Guys,
Just to check is there any different if the domain name is .com .com.sg .sg. net that will affect the marketing or business?

If you don't have the .com you'll lose a substantial amount of traffic... having the .net won't make you bankrupt.. well, you'll lose some visits... .net isn't out of the game though... peeps will be able to recognize the difference... the other extensions will be usually overlooked though. In the worldwide community those others are junklisted or hanging on the edge of total destruction. If you can't get the .com... get the .net... stay away from the rest... .co.uk is bad but its still strong... .ca ...maybe..
.info... pretend it doesn't even exist. That's pretty much how bad that TLD is....
.com.sg... .sg... I added the others to show how low those TLD's are in the scheme of things... they're barely surviving above the .info dumpster TLD.
If I was in a room with .com's and .sg's I'd have to dropkick the .sg's for being so lame..

so puremonopoly, does that meant that even with a .com.sg, it might get overlook at?

Think of it like this, would you rather deal with a worldwide company or with a timbuktu company.
.com gives you the ability to stay away from any particular country. Some people (prospective client) might not like some countries
