OVERVIEW
I am very picky when it comes to design - refer to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=611699. I would like to have a header designed for my new blog. I will try my best to give feedback to each and every entry. Please follow instructions. Please do not PM your entry (I will disqualify you). Please use royalty free stock images. You can use water-marked stock photo imagery for now (will reimburse the cost to the winner once header has been delivered). For those who don't know what dolsot bibimbap is, please read the blog. I reserve the right to not give out compensation if entries do not meet my expectations.

Thanks for your submission. Great work; however, your dimensions are incorrect. 950x200px; not 900x250px.

I like the way you incorporate the Korean flag within the design. DolsotBibimbap.com on the top right hand corner is redundant. Please do not stretch typeface ("learn about dolsot bibimbap ... ") I like the colorfulness of the pictures, but it's just too busy compared to the rest (keep in mind I need the visitor to read the content.) There is also inconsistency between the fried egg and raw egg.

Thanks for your submission. Great work; however, the dish illustrated in your header does not resemble dolsot bibimbap. Please emphasize the stone bowl. I wish there was more "black" incorporate into the design. The current focal point of the header is the sun rise. I'm not too fan of the typeface for the domain name. Good idea about the "temples", but I'm emphasizing the dish itself and not the culture.

Thanks for your submission. However, the authentic dish is served on a hot stone bowl, and the egg is served "raw". Your design would be effective if you would shown one image only and the picture were to be taken on a "diagonal" bases. The kerning on the domain name can be greatly be improved.

thanks for your submission. the typography choice for the domain name does not appeal at all for me. the tracking on the tag line is way too open. the imagery does not resemble dolsot bibimbap at all.

thanks for your submission. first of all, the domain name is misspelled. I like the opacity and gradient you have given to the kimchi. the current focal point is on the kimchi while the predominant content on the blog is dolsot bibimbap. do not overlay the two words from the domain name. i like the white version much better.

I like the grid; however, the kimchi picture does not belong there. the title should be "dolsot bibimbap". the chef hat disturbs the design. once again, the authentic dish is served with raw egg.

I like the background image with opacity and gradient. however, the stroke around the bowl is a little disturbing. the tag line should have a little bit more hierarchy. kerning could be improved. there is an inconsistency on the typeface. put a little bit of a web 2.0 version.

Great layout ... the imagery needs to be more graphically appealing ... lack of color perhaps ... the tag line needs more exposure ... would like to see more luxury ... getting somewhere ... let's close a little bit the tracking ...

Favorite so far. Like the second version much better. However, the glyph is quite distracting. I like how you made my keywords stand out. Perhaps, bibimbap could use the same typeface and style that dolsot uses. We could center the domain name and the tag line vertically and increase the size of the image a bit more.

great ... would still increase the image perhaps 30% ... would open the tracking of the domain a little bit ... look at the kerning between "s" an "o" ... take out the "separator" between domain name and tag line.

I like the previous version better ... the equilibrium between the image and text is quite right ... I was wrong about the separator ... improve the kerning on "dolsot bibimbap" ... I care more about typography than anything else ... Let's do "Dolsot [space] Bibimbap"

it is very royal and gets to the point to be a bit to much ...maybe the silver color ... and too much red ... the 2nd version is much better ... some typography issues on the tag line ... not too sure about the image ... seems to be a bibimbap ...
