Hi,

I am looking for a logo come banner for a music/lyrics search/download site.

should be approx 260 px wide by 90 px high. I will need the unflattened .psd file. Must be on white background.

the site is www.zakafrance.com. site is not yet up. I am looking for a modern, clean look. no slogan, no preference for colours, pls use zakafrance but not the www. entirely up to you what you do btw the site has nothing to do with France (don't ask! its a long story).

I am afraid not. I came across the domain around 8 months ago and thought it was a catchy name that might suit a variety of sites. So do what ever you think might look good. The site is now up but pls do not let that help or hinder your design ideas - need a completely different look. But must be clean and modern looking. I look forward to your design.

thanks navywife_afc, I quite like both of those, would they scale down to approx 260 x 90? with the second one maybe the face is a little toooo cartoony, the nose just makes me think of a bear. but in the running.

thanks for all the entries, some good designs, its hard to give any constructive feedback because I am not 100% sure what I'm after, its a matter of seeing it, then you know. I'll sleep on it and see what tomorrow brings. I will say that I am leaning towards navywife_afc at the moment, I do plan to finish by this time tomorrow night Syd time so we will have a winner by then.

Didn't copy my concept...? Let's see... simple, undetailed smiley guy, wearing headphones... shiny text, both guy and text with shadows... same placement... same font.... Oh don't worry though... You're not the only one.


The font I've used is 'impact', for the text.. oh and yeah, that smiley guy wearing the headphone is a font, i use this in almost all music related logo designs i use.. Why I copied your design 'layout' was cuz the contest holder liked your design the best so far.. So I thought I could create something better, with the same layout.. and there, I guess I did.. well, can't decide yet eh? let the contest holder judge.. also, my opinion is that your design looks too bad for someone to copy, rather than how you've placed em.. no offense buddy.. thats what i think.. oh and btw, re-think before you justify a statement mate

Well I think thats about it for the entries. as has happened before I was going down one path and then one comes along that I think is just right and it was exactly what I asked for ie
