If your domain is registered on Namecheap, then you can go for Free WhoisGuard Subscriptions.

No, my domains are registered at godaddy and 1&1. But thanks for the advice :) I'll look for something similar at godaddy also.

Private Registration at Godaddy will appear in the whois database as "Domains By Proxy" --- You can use that for a small fee per domain.

Transfer your domains to Namecheap, the first year of protection is free and $2.88 a year after that. On GoDaddy, I believe it is like $8.88 a year.

I don't know about go daddy
but i do know about 1and1 bec my host is 1and1 as well
go to domains -> highlight your domain -> click on contact -> private/public registration
then just select private and select ok
:) hope this helps
that is how i hide my domains
1and1 is free for private domains
but I like GatorHost much better because I have adult sites .. hehe :) 1and1 don't supports adult sites
so I have GatorHost and 1and1
but overall 1and1 has much better User Interface tho.. look clear and easy to check what you want to check
