Drastic drop in Back links from Yahoo!

Hi all..

I was checking the link popularity for some of the client sites I work on, and almost all of them showed a drastic drop in their back links from Yahoo!

I then checked a few competitor websites, and almost every website has dropped!

One of the sites I'm working on dropped from 6,120 links from Yahoo to 2,910 !!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I just noticed and the change is more prominent for well established sites, than for sites with already few backlinks.

What is Yahoo!! doing?? Any body else seeing this?

My site is not well established and I am seeing the same drop in backlinks. Half my backlinks have been dropped from yahoo and msn

I see big increase in Y! BLs, up to 4 times...

You think that's bad... used a couple of link popularity check tools and keyed in google.com and yahoo.com and got ZERO backlinks. NO site is returning any backlinks from Y! ... so you're not the only one.
